On February 10, Hongfei Zhang, General Manager of the Overseas Affairs Department of Lingang Innovation Center, and Hua Yang, Director of the Global Cross-Border Technology Exchange Research Institute, went to Lin’an District, Zhejiang Province and met with the Secretary of the District Party Committee, Guozheng Yang, to discuss the strategic cooperation between Lingang and Lin’an District.
General Manager Hongfei Zhang briefly introduced Lingang Innovation Center and its current model, and successful cases of establishing sub-centers in the Yangtze River Delta region. The deputy head of Lin’an District, Yicheng Lu, who accompanied the meeting, gave an overview of Lin’an’s economic and social development. She said that Lin’an District, as the linkage area of Zhejiang Free Trade Zone, has layouts in digital trade and cross-border e-commerce. Now it has national-level incubators, maker spaces and platform-level parks such as Qingshan Lake Science and Technology City, as well as multiple cooperation models such as park linkage and industrial funds. The project of the 2022 Asian Games will also greatly promote the development of Lin’an.
Secretary Guozheng Yang expressed his deep appreciation for Lingang Innovation Center’s practice of an integrated development model of the Yangtze River Delta. He pointed out that Lingang Innovation Center is a domestic leader in technological innovation and policy innovation, which is attracting many attentions. The conditions for Lin’an’s industry to gather and import are already in place. The development of enterprises is more important, and the service concept needs to be improved. Lingang Innovation Center has unique advantages and a mature cooperation model. It is necessary to find an entry point for cooperation between the two parties. He instructed the Lin’an Bureau of Commerce to set up a special team to work and conduct on-the-spot inspections as soon as possible, and push forward cooperation.
