On October 20th, Secretary Liu from Huai’an District, Huai’an City, Jiangsu Province visited Lingang Innovation Center Overseas Affairs Department. Mr. Hongfei Zhang, General Manager of Lingang Innovation Center Overseas Department, and Mr. Hua Yang, President of the Global Cross-Border Technology Exchange Research Institute, were very enthusiastic about this visit. During the reception, the two parties conducted in-depth exchanges on the cooperation in the development of the Lingang Innovation Yangtze River Delta Sub-center.
Secretary Liu said that Huai’an City is located in the middle of Jiangsu and is the hometown of Premier Zhou. Huai’an is a transportation hub and logistics hub in Jiangsu with roads, railways, and waterways extend in all directions. It also has the Huai’an Lianshui International Airport. Huai’an E-commerce Modern Logistics Park is a national and provincial e-commerce demonstration base. Many well-known companies in the country have operations there. Huai’an has four major industries. The first is the salt chemical industry. Huai’an has the second largest underground salt mine reserves in the country. There is a listed company, Su Yanjingshen, with sales of 10 billion yuan in 2020. The second is the electronics industry. There are Foxconn (Huai’an) Science and Technology City, Pengding Technology, Fortune Electronics and other key projects. It has also cooperated with Kunshan to build the Huai-Kun Industrial Park. Enterprises there that meet the requirements can enjoy preferential policies. The third is the textile industry. An industrial park for down has been built. The fourth is the machinery industry. The Xinshengfeng intelligent manufacturing project has a total investment of 5 billion yuan. The construction of the Qingding high-density printed circuit board project has started, and the mechanical industrial park planning plan has been approved. Secretary Liu said that Huai’an is one of the top ten regions in the country for business environment, and its service level is recognized by professionals all over the country.
Mr. Zhang said that Lingang Innovation Center was established in 2009 by the Shanghai Municipal Science and Technology Commission. It is a national technology business incubator featuring intelligent manufacturing. Due to the large number of enterprises in the park and the limited land resources in the Lingang area, in recent years, it has been committed to the integrated layout of the Yangtze River Delta. It has established the Ningbo Fenghua Sub-center, and is in contact with Nantong, Lianyungang, Lin’an, Shaoxing, Dongyang, Huzhou, Xuancheng and other places. The key to establishing cooperation is the degree of industrial relevance and whether the upstream and downstream industries of the supply chain are perfect.
The two parties conducted in-depth exchanges on land, industry, taxation, and talent policies, and visited Lingang Innovation Ningbo Fenghua Exhibition Hall and the Shanghai Technology Exchange together.
