On October 12, the launching ceremony of the 2022 Shanghai College Graduates Autumn Campus Recruitment Fair was successfully held at the Jianqiao College Stadium. This year’s job fair series activities were organized by the Shanghai Municipal Education Commission, and jointly organized by the Shanghai Student Affairs Center and Shanghai Jianqiao College. The activities were awarded by the Shanghai Pilot Free Trade Zone Lingang Special Area Management Committee, and the Administration of the Pilot Zone Management Committee strongly supports it.
As a series of large-scale offline job fairs held for the first time in Shanghai in 2022, more than 80 employers in the Lingang Special Area entered the site for recruitment, and more than 14,000 students entered the event.
In order to serve the needs of the new round of development and construction of the Shanghai Pilot Free Trade Zone, the Shanghai Student Affairs Center and the Administration of the Pilot Zone Management Committee held a plaque awarding ceremony for the “Study Workshop Quality Cooperation Park.”The goal is to establish a pool of high-quality talents, jointly cultivate high-quality talents for the free trade zone, and open up a new realm of talent strategy in the free trade zone.
At the launching ceremony, representatives of colleges and universities in Lingang Special Area jointly announced the proposal of “Contributing to Lingang and Building a Dream for the Future.” The representatives called on Shanghai college graduates to actively integrate their personal ideas into the development wave of the country and the city. The construction of the “Five New Towns” demonstrates the enterprising spirit of university students in the new era.
Towards the end of the event, Minjing Ni, deputy director of the Shanghai Municipal Education Commission, made a concluding speech and announced the official start of the job fair. He pointed out that the employment of Shanghai college graduates in 2021 has generally maintained a good and stable state and achieved good results.
The 2022 session of college employment has kicked off. Shanghai will work with other provinces and cities to promote the two-way connection between the employment of 2022 college graduates and the needs of corporate talents and strengthen the optimal allocation of innovative talents in industries, fields, and regions.
