From June 9th to 10th, with the support and arrangement from the Lingang Innovation Center, the Global Cross-Border Technology Exchange Research Institute brought dozens of entrepreneurs to the Lingang Innovation Center’s Ningbo (Fenghua) Branch for a visit.
The entrepreneurs first visited the Fenghua District Urban Exhibition Hall. This exhibition hall is designed with technology perfectly integrated. With explanations from the instructors present, everyone in attendance gained a deeper understanding of Fenghua’s past, present and future, and the strong sense of investment and development in the city. Afterwards, the entrepreneurs visited China Communications Yili Kechuang Cloud Corridor, which is positioned to grow as the base of science and technology enterprises in the remote Yangtze River Delta. The corridor is dedicated to connecting knowledge to production and turning dreams into reality. It is oriented by science and innovation, finance, medical health, and smart manufacturing to create a leading core device, cloud computing big data, smart medical, technology and financial industry cluster in Ningbo.
Later, Mengjun Dong, deputy director of Fenghua District Investment Bureau, Bangjun Yang, deputy director of the Economic and Information Commission, Weifeng Hu, manager of Lingang Innovation Center’s Ningbo (Fenghua Branch, and Xiaotian Hu, Manager of China Communications Future City, shared and exchanged ideas with entrepreneurs.
Mr. Hongfei Zhang, chief representative of CJ International Group in China and general manager of Lingang Innovation Center Overseas Affairs Department, then made an introduction. It mainly conducts work in the fields of corporate investment, international education investment management, financial cooperation and independent operation, and international cultural exchanges. Mr. Zhang said that as an important overseas investment platform for Lingang Innovation, CJ’s abundant overseas resources can help Fenghua attract more overseas companies to settle down and contribute to Fenghua’s economic development.
Following that, Hua Yang, President of the Global Cross-Border Technology Exchange Research Institute, made an introduction. The Global Cross-Border Technology Exchange Research Institute, which was officially inaugurated on April 28 this year, is a platform for the transformation and upgrading of Lingang Innovation, and the start of the construction of a global cross-border technology trade center and an offshore incubation base for the implementation of new strategic goals. It mainly exerts four aspects: a researcher and disseminator of Lingang science and technology policy; a one-stop service provider for investment and entrepreneurship; a bridge builder for cross-border communication; and a resource integrator connecting all parties. Mr. Yang said that the platform of the Institute is to connect entrepreneurs with the region and achieve a win-win situation.
Mengjun Dong, deputy director of Fenghua District Investment Bureau, then introduced the preferential tax policies, talent policies and industrial policies in the Fenghua area. These preferential policies are very important to the development of enterprises. He welcomed the entrepreneurs present to develop in Fenghua. Manager Xiaotian Hu of CCCC Future City also introduced CCCC’s development plan in Fenghua. The CCCC Future City project with a total investment of 43.55 billion yuan covers an area of about 17 square kilometers, equivalent to the size of the Huangpu District. The future city will not only be suitable for enterprise development, but also for talent living.
Entrepreneur representative and Chairman Chunlei Tang of Shanghai Congheng Enterprise Management Center shared his work experience, from being the director of Hongyan Automobile to working in investment. He has worked on many good projects, such as robots, hepatitis A medicine, etc. Mr. Tang said he felt Fenghua has a good opportunity. If there are suitable projects in the future, he will consider developing in Fenghua.
During their stay in Fenghua, the entrepreneurs also carried out other related activities and enjoyed a close experience of the environment and culture of Fenghua, and the environment for investment and business development. Everyone said that they have benefited a lot from this trip. They not only have a comprehensive understanding of Lingang Innovation Center’s Ningbo (Fenghua Branch, but also have a clear understanding of the opportunities for development in Fenghua. They hope to have more opportunities to participate in such activities in the future.
